Are you running the popular Greddy Vmount intercooler kit on your FD but currently don’t have AC? Do you want to modernize your current AC setup while running the Greddy Vmount? Have you been looking for a ready-made bracket kit that will mount the Mazda RX8 condenser to the Greddy Vmount radiator?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this kit is for you. This kit was designed with the end user in mind. It features precision cut and bent brackets that will mount the RX8 condenser to the radiator included with the Greddy Vmount intercooler kit. The mounts utilize existing mounting locations on the radiator and requires little to no modification to the ducting included with the Greddy kit.
Why is the RX8 condenser preferred over the OEM condenser? The RX8 condenser has a built in dryer (so no separate dryer needed) and is readily available on the market. It is just as wide as the Greddy radiator and therefore simpler to mount up using this kit. The original mounting tabs on the RX8 condenser will need to be removed/cut off.
We include foam strips to attach to the RX8 condenser (condenser is NOT included in this kit), to mitigate any metal on metal contact.
