Description
Many FD RX7s or vehicles running a 13B-REW motor (or just front cover) usually end up using aftermarket oil coolers. This modification usually involves using AN type fittings. Depending on the setup, the 10AN adapter and 10AN fittings attached to the front cover may end up loosening since the lines/thermostats tend to cause the fittings to rotate counterclockwise.
This front cover oil cooler fitting retainer set is designed to isolate/lock in these fittings to prevent loosening. They are made from CNC laser cut and bent stainless steel and slip over the fittings prior to assembly. Once the fittings are tightened, the retainer set slips over and gets bolted together and are anchored to a bracket which attaches to the front cover.
