We have given a new life to electric scooter batteries and created these up-cycled power banks. They are running on 18650 Li-ion cells previously installed in electric scooter battery packs.
Typically, when battery packs break early on in their lives, it is due to failing electronics in the BMS (Battery Management System). Instead of discarding the entire pack with sometimes hundreds of high value cells, we take the pack apart, test each individual cell and give the working cells a new life.
The result is this battery pack, for charging your phone or other devices. Since our electric scooter batteries consist of higher quality cells than typical power banks, you can expect first class performance and durability. And most importantly, we get to reduce waste…
