Description
The whoosh motorsports VTA (vent to atmosphere) mod is a very affordable way to get blow off sound from your Explorer ST
Simply remove the factory discharge tube running from the bypass valve to the drivers side air intake tube
Install the whoosh VTA silicone cap to the open port on the intake tube, secure with the OEM clamp and you’re done! The bypass valve port is left open which vents off throttle pressure to atmosphere creating the whoosh blow off sound
There are no negative effects or check engine lights to worry about from this mod and it’s 100% reversible back to stock
